Volunteer Excellence Awards
These awards were established to recognize deserving volunteers for their dedication and community service, and cover categories such as Arts & Literature, Community Service, Education, Volunteerism and Humanitarian Activities. Many organizations, events and initiatives in Quinte West rely heavily on selfless volunteers to operate day-to-day, and to put forth quality programs, services, and events.

The YMCA of the City of Quinte West is also proud home to the City of Quinte West's Sports Wall of Fame. This wall is intended to honour athletes, builders, and teams from the Quinte West community and an annual induction ceremony is held at the YMCA annually in July. Iris Awards
The City of Quinte West, in partnership with the Trenton Horticultural Society, presents the bi-annual Iris awards.
Nominate yourself or someone you know who goes that extra mile to beautify our City by landscaping the front yard of their property.
Entry forms and criteria are available for pick up at Quinte West City Hall or the Frankford Municipal Office or available for download online. The awards are presented bi-annually at the Bay of Quinte Home Show.
