Quinte West is well connected. With its location directly along the Highway 401 corridor, between Toronto and Ottawa, there are a number of transportation options into and around the City. Quinte West is well served by the local highway network. Our location on the Highway 401 corridor, a four-lane controlled highway, allows access to all of the major markets in southern Ontario and also serves as a route to major border crossings.

Bus Service

  • Quinte Access (Public Transit)

    The City of Quinte West provides public transit for all residents and visitors. There are two services currently offered:

    1) Specialized Shared Ride service for people with disabilities and seniors in Quinte West, and

    2) Public Transit in the Trenton Ward.Service is currently provided by Quinte Access utilizing 5 buses and 3 vans for specialized service and 5 buses operating 4 routes for Public Transit. All vehicles are fully accessible and provide comfortable and reliable transportation for all riders.)
