Parking Permit Applications


Guidelines and Regulations

  • The use of any assigned parking lot shall be at the permit holder's risk.
  • The City of Quinte West shall not be responsible for personal injuries or liability for loss resulting  rom fire, theft, or damage to any vehicle or article left therein.
  • Only one permit shall be issued per payment.
  • The City of Quinte West will accept payments made in cash, debit, or cheque.
  • Parking permits shall be clearly displayed at all times
  • The City of Quinte West shall receive payment before permit expiry date, and if not paid the space will be considered vacated.
  • Any vehicle that is parked with an expired permit, an improperly displayed permit, or no permit displayed will be ticketed.
  • The City of Quinte West or the applicant reserves the right to cancel the
    permit with 30 days notice.
  • This application is only effective for the space or location stipulated above.
  • The permit holder shall not reassign the parking permit to any other person without the proper written consent from the City of Quinte West.


Veteran Parking Permit


  • Please be advised that the City of Quinte West will discontinue the use of Veteran Parking Permits.
  • Effective January 1, 2016 the City of Quinte West will honour the Veteran Poppy Plate for free parking at municipal parking lots and metered spaces within City boundaries.
  • Poppy Plate Applications are available at City Hall as well as at Legion Branch 110, 19 Quinte Street, Trenton.

Volunteer Parking Permit

Non-profit organizations located in the downtown commercial core of Ward 1 (Trenton) may be eligible for a volunteer parking permit.

  • Organizations may be eligible to receive up to 10 permits per year for its volunteers use.
  • Only 1 permit shall be issued per vehicle during a shift.
  • Volunteer Parking Permit is only valid for the year in which it was issued.
  • Verification of volunteers must be provided.
  • Volunteer Parking Permit Application must be completed for each pass required.
  • Parking permits shall be clearly displayed at all times.
