Existing Facilities
There are a number of existing facilities available in excellent locations throughout Quinte West for commercial, industrial, and office space, ranging in area from several hundred square feet to several hundred thousand square feet suitable for manufacturing operations. These are in prime locations within the downtown and designated industrial areas.

Available Land
If you're looking for an industrial property to build a new facility on, there are available industrial properties all within a short distance from Highway 401. The North Murray Industrial Park in Trenton Ward, just south of Highway 401, is a 50-acre fully serviced industrial park that is competitively priced and has many attractive selling points. Other available lands include Frankford Industrial Park (12 acres) in Frankford Ward, Telephone Road (80 acres) in Murray Ward, Monogram Place (34 acres) in Sidney Ward, and Bata Development Lands (297 acres) in Sidney Ward.

Industrial Lands Draft Community Improvement Plan

The City of Quinte West initiated the preparation of an Industrial Lands Community Improvement Plan (CIP) in September 2018. A CIP is a planning and economic development tool that municipalities can use to assist in revitalizing a community or a specific area, to enable a wide range of financial incentive programs that encourage private investment, and to support strategic municipal initiatives aimed at promoting development.

In accordance with Section 28 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended, the City of Quinte West will hold a Public Meeting on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 6:00 pm at the Council Chambers, City Hall (7 Creswell Drive, Trenton, Ontario), to consider an Industrial Lands Community Improvement Project Area and Industrial Lands Community Improvement Plan (CIP).Hard copies can be viewed at the City of Quinte West City Hall (7 Creswell Drive), Frankford Municipal Office (22 North Trent Street) and at the Quinte West Public Library (Trenton Main Branch: 7 Creswell Drive, Frankford Branch: 22 North Trent Street). All comments from the public on the Draft Industrial Lands CIP can be made to Linda Lisle, Manager of Economic Development & Tourism.
