The City of Quinte West is encouraging residents to voluntarily reduce their water consumption by 10%. With lower than average precipitation over the last three months, both Lower Trent Conservation and Quinte Conservations have declared Level 1 Low Water Conditions across this watershed region. Residents can help conserve water by limiting lawn and garden watering, using rain barrels, limiting vehicle washing, etc.

Downtown WiFi Coverage Beta The City has launched free public WIFI in downtown Trenton. Residents, visitors and businesses in Quinte West can now connect digitally in a more accessible way. 
This project was made possible by the Province’s Main Street Revitalization Initiative and City funding. The City received Provincial funding in 2018 and invested over $30,000 into infrastructure that made this project possible.

In response to the extreme heat warning, the City of Quinte West has opened a cooling station at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Arena in Trenton. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. now through Friday. All visitors are encouraged to wear masks and maintain appropriate physical distances while using the cooling station. 
Splash pads are also open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily in both Trenton and Frankford. Public restrooms are available at both splash pad locations.

The City of Quinte West is conducting a speed review of County Road 64, between Barcovan Golf Course and Highway 33. The review will determine whether or not to reduce the speed limit from 80 km/hr to 60 km/hr. To provide your comments, visit
