The City of Quinte West has extended the closure of all municipal facilities indefinitely.  For that reason and to comply with the current Government of Ontario directives, Trent Port Marina will not open on May 1 as scheduled.  There is currently no set opening date but staff are continuing with capital projects and preparations for the season in order to be prepared for the earliest possible opening.   The due date for payment of outstanding moorage fees for...

Mayor Jim Harrison, with the support of Council and the City’s Emergency Control Group, has officially declared a State of Emergency in the City of Quinte West. There are a number of safe waste disposal guidelines for residents that will keep our waste collection staff safe during these difficult times. 
Do NOT place used tissues and napkins in the Green Bin – these items often become wind-blown when the collector opens the lid or when emptying the bin into the truck.

Place used tissues and napkins in the garbage. Wash your hands afterwards.

Use liners for food waste placed in the Green Bin.
