NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE
Canadian National (CN) Railway is preparing to undertake emergency rail crossing maintenance at Tate Rd, which is scheduled during the period between May 23 at 8:00a.m. (Tuesday) – May 26 at 5:00p.m. (Friday) requiring a temporary full road closure at the crossing. During this time detours will be in effect at the crossing location. Local traffic will need to access either side of the rail crossing from either Telephone Road or Highway 2.

Quinte West; Mayor Jim Harrison and senior city officials met today to discuss the flood issues in the City. The City in consultation with the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Trent Severn Waterway (TSW) and the Lower Trent Conservation Authority (LTC) are monitoring the water levels in all affected areas of the City.
