Corporate & Financial Services Committee

Purpose

The Corporate & Financial Services Committee is a standing committee of City Council. The Committee's goal is to set the financial polices, priorities and direction for the City of Quinte West.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Corporate & Financial Services Committee are briefly outlined below.

• Setting and overseeing the financial policies of the organization
• Planning and implementing special events
• Dealing with corporate facility issues and leases
• Setting fees for general government and recreation
• Overseeing and approving the Community Improvement Plan
• Functioning as the Audit committee for the City
