Budget Process

Capital Budget

The City's Capital budget and Community Investment Plan was presented and approved by Council in January of 2011.    Each year as part of the City's Capital budget process, Council reviews and updates the Plan.

The plan will outline proposed Capital investment for the current year as well as proposed Community Capital Investment for the next 10 years.  The Proposed Community Capital Investment Plan can be found at the link below.  Members of the public will have an opportunity to provide their input at either one of these Council meetings.

Operating Budget

The City's proposed operating budget will be presented to council for deliberation around the end of February.  At that time members of the public will be notified of the meetings and will have an opportunity to provide their input at any of the meetings heald during the process.
