Agricultural Advisory Committee
Purpose
The Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC) serves as an advisory resource to City Council and the Planning Advisory Committee in the development and review of planning policy and its impact on agriculture in the City of Quinte West. The AAC consists of Council members, representatives from the Hastings Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA), the Quinte Christian Farmers Association, and public members. The formation of the AAC recognizes the importance that the City places on developing and maintaining strong working relationships with the agricultural community — the cornerstone of a progressive municipality.
