Downtown Business Improvement Area

The Trenton Downtown Business Improvement Area (DBIA) is designed to be a self-help mechanism that provides the tools and resources necessary to promote and beautify the downtown area. The mission of the Trenton DBIA is to help build and maintain a strong business area for the community of Quinte West and to promote the downtown core so that local businesses thrive and prosper. The Trenton DBIA is designated under a special municipal by-law and legislated by the Province of Ontario. Funding for the projects within the area is by way of a special levy to the property tax paid by each owner of property designated as industrial or commercial within the boundaries of the Trenton DBIA.
