Downtown Business Improvement Area

The Trenton Downtown Business Improvement Area (DBIA) is designed to be a self-help mechanism that provides the tools and resources necessary to promote and beautify the downtown area. The mission of the Trenton DBIA is to help build and maintain a strong business area for the community of Quinte West and to promote the downtown core so that local businesses thrive and prosper. The Trenton DBIA is designated under a special municipal by-law and legislated by the Province of Ontario. Funding for the projects within the area is by way of a special levy to the property tax paid by each owner of property designated as industrial or commercial within the boundaries of the Trenton DBIA.

Events

Trenton Idol

Learn how you can audition for the 2010 Trenton Idol on July 1st in the Centennial Park Amphiteathere, Trenton. Pre-registration is required by June 30th at 8pm. Finals will be held July 15 -17th at Downtown Trenton's Festival on the Bay. This event is sponsored by the DBIA and the Canada Day Committee. All funds donated to Canada Day Fireworks and ALS.
